Over the years of visiting the theme parks we have seen it grow and grow, This is a fantastic day out for a great family fun day. We buy yearly passes which allow us to visit as many times as we want through out the year, its the best value if you are going on holidays for a couple of weeks or you live close by. When you purchase yearly passes this usually includes 1 free ticket to their fright night in October and the White Christmas World in December, which we have also been to both. Fright nights are a little scary especially the horror mazes, its held after hours and the whole park has spooky feel to it, with smoke machines zombies and horror movie movie look a likes. We did see younger children on the nights that we attended but i personally wouldn't take my youngest i would say the age would be from 10 to 12 up or they may get scared. The White Christmas World was awesome my youngest LOVED it. They have fake snow in the main street, christmas carols are played throughout the night, they have a special street parade which was amazing my 4 year old eyes were lit up in awe with the characters in costume, even the polar express float was in the parade. The only negative i could give to both these extra night (fright night / white christmas) is that it get extremely busy so be prepared for longer lines to get onto the rides and be prepared for the long wait when trying to leave the car park, public transport is right at the door so this would be a great way to get there on these nights. I highly recommend this theme park.

Awesome Day out for everyone - The Aged - The Middle Aged - The Newly Weds - The Kids and The Babies, Its a day out for everyone, loads to do. The Rides are Great, Batman Ride is a Traditional Favourite, ITs expensive, however, like all the parks on the Gold Coast, you can get Yearly Pass's which makes it worth your while. We are lucky we have such an Attraction in Queensland. Its continually improving, it gets 5 Stars because of the Staff and the Attractions and Presentation. Its AWESOME

Approximate cost: $150

The experience was fantastic and very friendly service.
Lots of fun and laughter for all ages, food is quite expensive so would be good to pack a lunch for the family, the rides are excellent but queues are a bit of a wait.

Approximate cost: $30

Lots of fun here, for all ages. Can be a bit boring for those that dont want to do the rides, having to wait up to an hour each time, while us 'daredevils' line up for the rides.
Enjoyed the stunt-driving show, the 4-D cinema and the parade as well.
Food and souvenirs are over-priced, but this is the same at all of these types of places. (wouldnt it be nice if one of them decided to offer some cheaper alternatives, not everybody can afford these prices, and you are not permitted to take anything in with you).
But, overall a fun experience!

This park needs a lot of money spent on it.
A lot of things (eg. behind the scenes tour) have closed and nothing has opened in its place.
It is nothing like it use to be.

Great roller coasters for the older kids though for younger kids there needs to be more.

Approximate cost: $89

Arrived at Movie World. Car park had many many cars there already but it was easy to find a park. Short stroll to entry - walked straight through with no lines. WOW! What a fantastic visual experience! Went to 4D Ice Age presentation (very cool). Wandered around to "Kiddie world" where 2 year old had a ball. Miss 10 also had a fantastic time. Although we did not go on any of the apparently AWESOME roller coasters Movie World was well worth the money. In a direct shootout against Sea World Movie World is SO MUCH BETTER. Miss 10 thought it was "Medium better" and Master 2 thought it heaps better.

Applause for what they have done and the way they deal with crowds - Its the little things like being able to get in and get out easily that make all the difference - Oh and the FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE on offer.

We've been getting VIP passes for this place for 5 years now. You pay $99 for a yearly pass which gets you into any of the Warner parks ie Movieworld, Seaworld and WetNWild. The bonus is you can go whenever you like, whether its in the morning or your way back from the coast. All my 3 kids (now young adults) and their mates all have one so that's really handy. It's just the best place for a chill day. Rides are great and staff are always helpful. Food is a bit pricey but most theme parks are. As we have passes and get in for free, we don't mind paying for a meal there. Us girls find their lockers great for holding all our bags, jackets etc but be aware that the Superman ride doesn't allow ANYTHING in your pockets even mobiles and sunglasses so they have lockers there. And if your keen to go on a favourite ride, make sure its operational by looking on their site for weekly ride maintenance before you go. Ow and buy a yummy Churro on the way out, that's our routine ..

This park is so much fun for all. The Scooby doo ride is fantastic. There is something for all to do. The only criticism I have is that the shows need to change a bit more often. We rae a bit sick of the same characters and shows in the Wikld western show, the scooby doo show the car show and the all stars parade.

Approximate cost: $depends if you have VIP pass

I have been to Movie World quite a few times over the years and it's always fantastic. The rides are fun, there's loads of things to do, and the lines usually aren't too long. The Wild Wild West is a classic and the new Superman and Batman rides are great thrillers. Don't miss the stunt show!
