Don't go here if you admire your watches in the slightest. Brought two watches here to get the battery replaced. One was a Emporio Armani watch given to me as a b'day gift so it was quite special to me, and one was a Mercedes Benz watch I bought in Paris. I had only wore the Emporio Armani watch 3 times and had been so very careful, not to get any scratches, each time I wore it. Asked the lady there to be very careful with it because the watches were fairly new, she absolutely insisted that I get a pressure test for each watch after the battery change, which I was hesitant about, but she pretty much bullied me in accepting.

The whole process was done in 15 minutes, I stayed there the whole time of course because I was worried about the watches. I watched her do the whole thing, I saw her take a metal flat screw driver like tool to pry the back open quite forcefully, taking a few attempts. She did it for both watches, then dunked them into a blue liquid device for the pressure test. Then she took them out and put them in a rag and roughly scrunched them in there, in a attempt to dry them. Then she popped the wristbands back on, and gave them back to me. At that point, I was completely baffled, I was't sure what I witnessed. I tried to inspect my watch after she handed them back to me but without even giving me a few seconds (really not even 10 seconds), she shoved the eftpos machine in my face and strongly insisted I pay right away (I think from the shocked and baffled expression on my face she was afraid that I might not pay). I said "Can I please have a look at them first?", she annoyingly stood there taping her feet, asking me to pay right away because she had other customers to attend to. There was literally no one else there, besides a lady that appeared to be her friend who was waiting to chat to her. I know because they were already chatting to each other while she was working on my watch.

Let me try to describe what was handed back to me. Both the watches were still wet and with blue liquid very visible in the back corner edges of the watches, the liquid had a tacky feeling, I wiped my finger across the front glass of the watch and had moisture on the tip of my finger. At the back of my Emporio Amarni watch there was a big, very visible, scratch along the edge where the small opening tab for opening up the watch was. But without having any time to react or inspect my watch (I was pretty much still in shock), she kept shoving the eftpos machine in face, meanwhile frustratingly saying "You have to pay now, I have other customers" multiple times, I eventually took out my card and paid ($80 altogether). After I did she look relieved, then turned around and continued chatting with her friend. I made it about 1-2 metres away before I knew I had to go back. I told her she had made a scratch on my watch and both my watches were still wet and blue-ish, honestly, they looked like [redacted offensive language]. At that time I was so upset. She denied that she scratched it and kept saying she didn't do it. I told her that I had only wore the EA watch 3 times and both of them were practically new, I absolutely made sure of that, how did a gigantic scratch (at the back of the watch!) get there, and wasn't there before I handed it to you?. She denied everything. I told her she was extremely rude. After standing there for almost five minutes, she did apologised for being rude but still denied that she made that scratch and dipped my watches in blue gunk and didn't clean it off properly. I regretted having paid her and didn't know what to do. I would advise anyone to not use their services because the operator there clearly does not care about your stuff. By far the worst service I've had anywhere! And now my watches are all messed up.

Oh, and apparently they don't sell the small metal stick that's used to take off your watch straps. "They need to be ordered from a professional watch tool specialist from Switzerland", which only they can do. I asked because I lost mine, which I got from the $2 shop in a set of watch cleaning tools.

[redacted inflammatory comment] Avoid!

Approximate cost: $80

SCAMMERS!! - Cost $40 for a simple watch battery replacement. Plus when originally done the watch was not checked and didn't work (looking back this was on purpose) I noticed this straight away and when I told the women she tried to charge me for the service of 'trying' to replace the battery! According to her if I had brought it back the next day they would not have refunding my money and would have had to send the watch away for a service!! This is why a dud battery was put in to begin with. Absolute scam. It's only that I made a fuss that she replaced the battery again straight away and miracle of miracles it worked! How many people before me have been scammed with this I can only imagine, I don't know how they live with themselves. AVOID this place like the plague!

I have taken keys and watches here many times over the years as its convenient for me the guys have been friendly and helpful. Of course being situated in the main shopping centre cost comes into the equation and you always pay a little bit more for repairs to be done not their fault.
