Had a fabulous meal - social gathering of friends, relaxed friendly atmosphere. Lovely fresh flavours and topped off with a delightfully sinful dessert. Great service from our very attentive table hostess Steph. We will be going there again soon!

Went on the spur of the moment to Watercress for dinner on Saturday night. I am Coeliac and needed my food to be gluten free. No Problem. Food fantastic, Service excellent. My wife and I had a wonderful evening. The steak was excellent perfectly cooked for my wife but mine was perhaps overcooked by 1 minute. Otherwise excellent. Will definitely return

There was 4 of us there for dinner on Christmas Eve and had two other tables near us (one of approx 10 and one of 2). We all wished each other Merry Christmas and then the three tables basically merged in one big festive celebration. The large table shared their bonbon jokes with us and we shared with the table to two. When the meal arrived we all asked what each other was having and everyone was commenting on how FANTASTIC the food was. The staff were extremely friendly, knew when to join the 'banter', knew when to be professional. I have to say that I had the pork belly and it absolutely melted in my mouth. Why this is so special is that I have difficulties eating meat due to digestive issues. So to have a meal with MEAT is so rare for me, and to have something like that was pure bliss. Since Christmas Eve, I have been there for meetings, lunch and I am going to keep going. Alastair and Bec the owners introduced themselves, the waiters introduce themselves. All I can say is that I am completely hooked. CONGRATULATIONS WATERCRESS!

There were 7 of us eating at Watercress, including 2 children. The food was REALLY good, all arrived in a timely fashion and was hot despite us all having different meals. The offer on the Childrens meals was brilliant, good portions which were enjoyed by my picky 11 yr old and my hungry 8 yr old boy!! The staff were just lovely and couldn't help enough. I might be a little picky and say they were a little too efficient....I would have liked a little more time in between courses. Prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We will be back very soon I'm sure! Well done Watercress

Dined at Watercress Restaurant last night (Saturday) for the first time after reading the reviews on WOMOW with no knowledge of the restaurant prior. Food and atmosphere was great, diverse menu, friendly staff and chef's, good value for money. No corkage at present, but will be licensed soon I believe. This will become a favourite and will definitely return.

We turned up with no booking on New Years Eve and were greeted with fantastic, friendly smiles & service. Even before we ordered we were having a lovely time, nothing was too much trouble for the girls, Steph & Anita, who looked after us. We ordered a starter & 2 main meals & they came out quickly & hot!! The food was delicious & well priced. No corkage was charged for our BYO wine & beer. We had dipping breads, a Chicken tomato pesto roulade & an Angus beef burger & fries. We were very impressed with the food, service, price & setting & will definitely be going back.

We have dined twice at Watercress - once for breakfast, and once for lunch (freshly made scones were delicious!). My husband and I were so pleased with the attentive service and wonderful food. A great menu and generous servings. Great coffee too!
