I use to work just up the road from here and we used to come here every Friday for dinner and a beer. It a great pub. The food is cheap and yum and the beer is even better. Great location too and also parking onsite

This is our work Fri lunch watering hole. We often book it out for leaving or birthday lunches. The lunch menu is value for money, the service is really quick if you order by phone. I've not been there in the evenings but they have a live band some nights and there's plenty of parking round back.

Approximate cost: $15

We went for dinner on a Friday night and the bar area was packed! Walk down the stairs to the restaurant and it was much more relaxed and quieter.

Service was excellent, can't fault it. They came at the right times and we were not left waiting.

We ordered a steak and the tandoori salad with calamari. I made the mistake of ordering a side of chips with my salad. It really wasn't needed as the salad was quite big and filling and delicious!

Would definitely go back again. Free parking is available and the car park is off Stratton Street.

Approximate cost: $20.00

I went with my colleague / friend for lunch to Waterloo Hotel in workweek. We had acknowledged a waitress we had only a hour off work for lunch. Waitress was very nice and as we said, she managed to bring starter very shortly after the order...and shortly then she brought main meals. We both ordered Fisherman's basket. My bad I had not asked what it was as I simply assumed it was a basket of fresh seafood. What the disappointment! :-( Yet, my mistake.

Otherwise I must admit crumbled seafood was definitely fresh. We were asked if we wanted some dessert but because we were running out of our time, we paid and left quickly.

I would not mind going back there and try another dish that I would enjoy better. Service was very friendly, restaurant looking quite cosy too.

Approximate cost: $15-30

I love the Waterloo! It's a great place to eat, drink and be merry. Every Tuesday night is Trivia Night and I went for the first time last night. It was well organised, lots of fun and very civilised.

Tuesday night is also 2-4-1 pizza night so all in all, it's a great night out without costing the earth. The pizzas were delicious!

Parking is right outside, decor is lovely and the service is friendly and helpful. For a Tuesday night with not much on TV, it's a great way to spend an evening in the company of other spirited people!
