I have been using Wattle Park Cakes for years now - for cakes as well as larger cakes for special occasions. They really are terrific - BEAUTIFUL cakes and very reasonably priced. Service great as well. Seems to be a well kept secret - they are tops!

The worn out stone steps to this bakery say it all. The locals would rather you don't. They don't like waiting in line for their French Vanilla Slice. But they will if you make them - before they all run out. You know I just wish they bought back the good old Cream Puff. Two sponge circles cradling raspberry bakers filling and real cream lightly dusted with pure icing sugar. Now there's a cake. Introduce yourself to the shy folk. If you go there twice - on the second time they will remember your name.

Wattle Park cakes is absolutely at the top end of cake shops.
It's small and quite plain but they have great savoury goods like pies and quiches etc
as well as a great range of cakes - Vanilla slices, Caramel slices etc which are all top quality.
Also breads and rolls etc but it's more a cake shop.

They can make cakes for weddings etc and have lots in the window
