Absolutely horrible service, made the mistake of paying for the advertising before we were shown the product. We have now had an ad printed with no input or approvals from our end and false advertising of our company despite numerous emails and phone calls.
Stay clear of this company at all costs.

I own a denture clinic in melbourne and earlier this year paid for an ad to go in the seniors paper, the results i have got are great. I will be de3finitely going in their papers again as its a cheap way of promoting my business

Yep......sorry to say I got done too...$740 for advertising that never eventuated. P..eed off with Vic Dept Fair Trading...paper tiger...no results..[redacted due to generalisation] still getting ripped off daily.

These people are qualified scam artists do not deal with them... they offer advertising but do not deliver... they have been reported on scam watch. And beware they used my credit card details unlawfully....

A very unprofessional business. Paid for our ad 12 months ago and still waiting for the Little Pink Book publication to be printed. Numerous calls, etc. Ignored. Never do business with this company.

DO NOT deal with these people. I found them to be unprofessional and dishonest. They keep my Credit Card details and repeated a charge without my permission. When contacted for a refund they promise they would sort it out. Promised refund never happened after several weeks and many calls

They have several newspapers / publications including little pink book and a publications for seniors. They failed to deliver the services for little pink book and after discussing a seniors package they charge my credit card for a higher amount without my permission. They essentially repeated the original transaction from the details I gave them first time around

Extremely dissatisfied and I feel I have been the victim of fraud

I have now been advertising my CCTV business with Weaver Newspapers for a few Months.
The amount of businesses generated has tripled since advertising with them.

Similar experiences to other people. Double charges taken out, no customer service, call a lot to do further advertising. No idea how to run a business. Avoid at all cost.

FAILURE TO DELIVER TIME AFTER TIME!!! After numerous phone calls that each time resulted in a dead end, I finally caused enough fracas to be called back and promised a refund. We were given a big sob story about how their business failings were all due to a nasty divorce...not sure how one's personal life should affect your product/is relevant, but when we found out that the divorce was over three years ago, it is completely obvious they were just looking for excuses.
None the less, I let things go and waited patiently for our refund cheque to arrive.
However, in the interim we received a phone call basically bribing us to remove our original negative review (below) if we wanted our refund. It has now been over 5 weeks since we were promised our refund and surprise surprise nothing! Weaver Newspapers if you are reading this, just return our money as promised or you will be getting more negative reviews, not less!!!!!

Just about the most unscrupulous bunch of people we have ever come across (and there has been a few too many!). After spending approximately $1000 with them on front page advertising and then receiving no response we requested a list of where this paper is actually delivered to, only to be told very rudely that they would only provide a distribution list to us in court! Have called 10 other companies who have also advertised with them and not one has had a single response! Relayed this information back to
them only to be told that the purpose of advertising "isn't to get a response"???!!!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!*

I spent my hard earned money advertising with Weaver Newspapers, through their multiple publications, The Pink Book and The Senior Scene. I didn't receive any phones calls or emails from this service. I called and emailed this business to find out more about why my advertising package didn't work, only to be left on hold for 30mins and none of my emails answered to. I was treated unprofessionally, rudely by the sales representative and the lady who answered my call. It seems this company calls small business owners like myself and scams them. It's best to hang up the phone and report them when these people ring and hassle you. Don't waste your hard earned money.
