I have a 2002 4.8ltr Nissan Patrol, which has been running terribly. I have been to three other garages chasing this problem, one which referred me to an exhaust shop where I got brand new extractors fitted, only to have the problem still there! So as you could imagine by now I was sick of throwing money at it and getting no results. I had almost given up and decided I was just going to have to live with this problem or try to sell the car and get what little money I could for it. I was referred to Wedmaiers by a friend of mine and decided to give one last shot at fixing this now problem car. I dropped my car there one morning and within half a day had heard back from them which what they believed to be the problem. They had to keep my car for a few days, which I was ok with, because they kept me updated every day with the progress and would take the time to answer any and all of the questions that I had. With what little hope I had left of this problem being fixed I went in and picked up my car when it was all done and and all I can say is WOW! It was like driving away when I first bought the car brand new. I would have never believed anyone if they told me there could be this much difference. I will definitely be going back to these guys for all my servicing/repairs from now on!

Well long story im toby i had my falcon at this garage for just a gas service which they told me was $130 and a dyno turn which was an extra 88 thats all i wanted done they had my car for three hours which they charged me over three hours in labour but from the time they had me car to the time they said it was finished was just under two hours but charged me over three they didnt dyno tune it cause they said they couldnt do it cause of the spark plugs were to worn they charged me for 4 cans of throttle body cleaner now how the hell do u use that much on one car ive cleaned may 5000 throttle body in 20 years of being a mechanic and never herd such rubbish when i got my car back i had a flat tyre 5 k down the road cause they drove into a screw they turned up the mixture screw on the vapour line and made it run so rich i was only getting 300 k a tank of gas instead of 530 k i since have desided to buy a gas anerliser which cost neally 4000 dollars and have gotton my car back on track i have never taken my car to a mechanic cause i have been a mechanic since i was 23 now neally 40 yo mechanics is my second trade first being a electronics tech so for the gas is the only thing i take my car to a mechanic but no more even sourced lpg parts suppliers and will do everything my self the place i work at pay me 28 dollars an hour cause i am a a++ grade mechanic with 0 comback and fast workmanship most if not all mechanics are flat out getting 20 an hour my brother also took his car to these people and was charged him 450 for a sprintgas converter were at a gas supplyier u pay around 200 tops so i would never recomend these people to anyone ever the money was not what i am worried about cause i have tonns i payed for the bill just out of interest of my accound its just the fact that they though they do good work when its not so by a long shot i even do wheel alignments my self also 10 years ago i happen to have come across a machine from a work shop that was upgrading but did still cost many thousands

I have had Lpg problems with my car for over six months, and have been to 3 apparent Lpg specialists and spent a lot of money trying to get my car right. A friend Recommended Wedmaiers Garage and I am Stoked with the results, they found the problem that day and had to get a part from Melbourne overnight. I picked up the car the next afternoon and it is now running better than when I bought it 2 years ago. Thank you Wedmaiers.

After 7 years of taking my vehicles to Wedmaier's I'm now leaving a review. They are fantastic and I know most other people share my view as they are regularly booked out a fair bit in advance. But they make time if an unexpected breakdown occurs. Even my wife feels comfortable going there as Alistair makes everyone feel welcome. You need a mechanic you can trust and this place you can. Alistair even shows you the broken part or what he's talking about. Nothing to hide. He's honest and offers his opinion that something that's starting to break could last a lot longer yet and just to monitor it if that's the case. Yes I live just around the corner but if I move I'll be sure to travel to bring my cars here. (Within reason).
