I had been having trouble with my PC for ages and my previous consultant said it was too old and couldn't be fixed, so I plodded on. I talked to Ben and not only did he say it could be fixed, he fixed it and returned it the next day. He took the box away to his 'bench' where it would be easier for him to work. I also handed him my portable hard drive, still in it's box. When he brought it all back, it was faster, it didn't seize up after a few hours and there was a backup on my portable hard drive. It is still and 'elderly' PC but now I can play games on Facebook without crying in frustration. And it hasn't seized up even once since then.

3 or 4 months later... I went to boot my computer and it didn't. It went into a loop and briefly flashed the blue screen of death/doom. I thought VIRUS and turned it off. I sent a text message to Ben asking to call when convenient. He returned my call the next morning which was Sunday. He came over and took the box away (and the portable hard drive). A couple of hours later he called to say it was fixed and he could bring it back then. He also offered me a modern flat screen monitor to replace my old fashioned clunky one. I thought $25 was a ok and accepted. So he was soon back to my place and put everything back together again. It wasn't a virus, it was something to do with the BIOS whatever that is, so I didn't lose anything. And my portable hard drive had another backup on it, too.
