Having been to Weller's a few years ago we decided to use our Entertainment Book coupon and go back for a special occasion this week. We were there on a Wednesday evening and were surprised at the number of diners - that in itself is a positive review. The service from the staff was excellent - very friendly and happy to chat and joke and not make you feel like they needed to get away. The food came out in good time and was well 'plated' and tasted amazing. A good variety of items on the menu without being too many choices. All the food we tasted was delicious and not stingy. They were happy with us waiting before deciding to order desserts and then when we decided not to order we weren't made to feel like we were wasting their time. We will definitely go back sometime in the future - maybe on a weekend daytime to enjoy the beautiful views they have to offer.

Been here a couple of times over the past couple of months - once for casual dining, another for a function.
The casual dining experience was great and couldn't fault it. Lovely food, great service and friendly staff.
The function was also good however, the function coordinator needs to be a bit more on the ball - a minor thing was stuffed up because updated instruction didn't reach the kitchen. Also, tea & coffee service needs to be more secluded or obvious it is just for the function table - other diners were helping themselves to our tea & coffee and we had to get additional cups and more tea/coffee.
That said, it was still a fabulous meal, great service and friendly staff. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Beautiful views, great homely food, rustic country cosy atmosphere. Brilliant way to see some very talented musicians perform up close and personal - they have weekly performers and also showcase bigger names - but you need to book tickets early as it is very popular. The food is delicious and serves are generous and use only the freshest ingredients. A real treasure just on the outskirts of Eltham.

I have been here at least a dozen times, perhaps because its my local of which I'm very fortunate! Great menu which changes from time to time some; their service is always impeccable, atmosphere relaxed and good for couples of families, they showcase local wines too and desserts brilliant

If you want more than just a dining experience, then take a look at the ever changing entertainment/event options which are also available. Definitely one major draw card here are their breathtaking views of the Yarra Valley, there's really nothing like it!

3 of us had a great meal on the weekend. We all thought the food was lovely....highly recommend. Had a great sticky date pudding as well. Could have done with more staff as they were busy!

The decor is antique and gives a cosy feeling. I like that some mains are available in entree size (though it is still too much for me). My children enjoyed the old tram outside and there is huge fenced backyard for children to run around. I ordered the chicken mushroom risotto which was average. For dessert I had the sticky date pudding which was one of the best I've ever had! The coffee was Beraldo which isn't my favourite brand so didn't quite enjoy it and neither did my coffee addict dad. My daughter really loved her Frog in the Pond which she had for dessert.

Rustic style restaurant with great tasty food, beautifully presented. Very good wine and beer list, and they have live music on certain nights. The view over the valley on a fine day is worth the visit on its own.

The location is amazing with views to make you melt great for a romantic dinner. The food is good quality and delicious with wines to match, sourcing from local companies. I have been there several times and always enjoy the meal and service.

I've been visiting this restaurant in Kangaroo Ground for as long as i was old enough to remeber. Set on a beautiful property with sweeping views of the valley, this restaurant is an institution in the area. Fantastic views if you sit near a window, or nice and cozy by a fireplace in winter. The menu is not very long so that can be annoying if you are a fussy eater. Lots of nice desserts to choose from. Prices are quite high, but its the atmosphere and view you are paying for. This would be a great venue for an engagement or wedding party.
