I got my hair extensions from Thin On Top,West End Hair Salon in Melbourne. The extensions I got from Thin On Top totally fit to my natural hair. Before putting them on, the hair extensions were dyed with the same color as my hair, and now they look the same as my hair. The hair extension length is a little bit longer than my hair, but it looks totally great. The hair extension adds a little bit more volume to my hair to.

I have been to West End Hair twice now, each experience has turned out fantastic. My hair always looks wonderful! The first time I went in, I had a treatment, cut, colour and blow-wave. My hair looked awful after being bleached by a friend at home, but they made it look like new again. Highly recommend them!

I am generally satisfied with West End Hair. I am always their number 1 priority, and visit them on a daily basis. I was though overcharged once, so that is why I will not give them a 5 star on the value

I get the impression this place was once fantastic, the place to go in Melbourne for hair extensions. I do think they could be that again. They are expensive but not the most expensive place. They do great colour matching. Many advances have been made with extensions yet this place still uses the traditional weft that is sown in. That's fine for some. Not great for people with fine hair and want extensions on a regular bases. For a day after getting extensions here I would get the worst headache. The owner tells you to drink lots of wine after getting them done! They are pricey for a sown in weft. I have chosen to go elsewhere for my extensions after having enough of the poor service at westend. You end up paying a small fortune here and are treated like they are doing you a favour by serving you. It doesnt take long to get extension re-sown in, half hour max (I only had 2 rows). Yet most of the time it would take over and hour and a half because, it felt, like I wasn't important, answering the phone, chatting to other people etc was more important. If this only happened once in awhile that would be ok, but after being a customer of theirs for over a year it ended up happening more often then not. It's a shame. They make great extensions. Just wish their service was nicer and they moved with the times, embraced other techniques for extensions that don't hurt as much

I suffered extreme hair loss as a result of childbirth and a subsequent illness that also landed me in hospital not long afterward. After a consultation with Olga I walked out with a new head of hair (top volumiser) that looked waaaay more natural on me than a wig, and she cut it and styled it while it was clipped on. I felt wonderful when I left, and it was all done in relative privacy up the back of the salon. The follow up visit didnt quite live up to the expectations that were set at that first visit, but it was included in the cost of the first visit so I can't really be too upset. It looks so natural that close friends and family have not realised its not my own hair, and the piece de resistance was when I visited the dermatologist about my hair loss and she almost brushed me off because she did not realise I was wearing a hairpiece!!! Thank-you thank-you thank-you!
