This takeaway cafe has recently undergone some renovations and has had a sparking paint job and re-signage as part of a renovation when Domenico's Pizza was built next door. It's situated along busy Millers road between the freeway and Geelong road so it's something of a truckie food stop too.

But there's nothing rough and ready about this place. It's sparking clean and open with plentiful tables and chairs inside and some outside too, but there's not much of a view. The counter and kitchen area are large and have easy to read menus.

The choices are wide and varied, from fresh sandwiches and rolls ($3)to hot food like hamburgers,($4) chicken schnitzel rolls,($5.80) souvlaki,($6.50) hot dogs, flake, chicko rolls etc ... lots to choose from. Made for you or there's some for a quick grab in the "hot trays".

They also have some cakes and sweets. I had this divine pastry called a sour cherry strudel. Never seen one of those before, but it was delicious. They do close early though - around 2.30 pm, so you need to go before this. They have good coffee at $2.50 for a small and plenty of cold drink choice.

So for some good food when you're on the way somewhere, it's a handy place to stop. Parking out the front limited or some in the side street. Watch out doing a U turn in Millers Road though, it's divided road but the trucks really zoom along there. Nice people too, man and lady, very obliging.

Approximate cost: $5 average, with drink $8
