5 reviews about White Lotus Vegetarian Restaurant

I was a bit unsure at first when my friend took me here, as I generally stay away from vegetarian restaurants, but I was quite impressed. I had the The Tamarind fish and is was delicious. I would go again, I guess it is always good to take a break from meat.

I love this restaurant. I don't know what they do to the food but this is the only place I can eat something fried and not feel sick. I am addicted to the sweet and sour nuggets. The servings are massive and very reasonably priced. So many delicious things to choose from.

one of the few places i have found that serves mock meat. delicious options! try the mock chicken or lamb. the lamb still did my head in though. so realistic!

Approximate cost: $15

The first time I went to White Lotus I thought it was an elaborate joke on vegetarians - the food was too realistic.
The tamarind fish is amazing, absolutely my favourite.
They also do a great takeaway vegetarian chicken soup (for sick vegies, it's the closest thing to mum's old fashioned chicken soup!)
I always make sure to make a trip here when I'm in Melbourne.

Usually it's quite crowded but the people who go there are willing to wait for the delicious vegetarian food. The honey chicken is the best, it's the closet thing to the real deal.

Approximate cost: $15
