I cannot recommend this vet practice any more highly.

I have been taking my 2 cats there for many years and recently needed to have one of them put to sleep (sniff).

The team there were beyond! So incredibly compassionate and tactful, every member of staff on site showed respect and were emotional along with me. They were gentle and so incredibly caring, I don;'t know what I would have done without them.

They stayed back with my husband and I until we were ready to leave and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our little girl.

They are always professional, caring, understanding and clear with and issues or concerns they may have.

They really do care for their patients as their own.

Thank you to Dr. Emily and the team for making a very hard night as bearable as could be and for showing so much care. Its truly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts.

Liz, Chris and Bommy.

How fortunate to find such compassionate, professional and highly-skilled veterinary care! Although we were impressed with your attention to detail and great service when we came in for our dog's regular check-ups, Ben's recent emergency was a true display of your talent and experience. We were wavering on whether or not we would have the surgery done or put him down. You showered Ben with so much warmth while we made our decision, and we never felt like we were being judged for our hesitation to have the surgery done. It was a hard decision, but we chose to have the surgery and he is full of energy and has a new lease on life. We couldn't believe he was wagging his tail when we brought him back into your office for his followup appointment. He is so thankful for your impeccable treatment.

Dear Whitehorse Veterinary Hospital. In response to your phone
message on the 12/06/19; I find your condolences over the death of my
beloved dog on the very morning after I post a one star google review
as less than sincere and insensitive. It is evident by the frequency
of occasions in which you refer to being sad and upset about the
rating that you are more concerned about ratings than my dog’s
passing. You even tried to use my love of animals as a means to sway
me to remove the rating. What you didn’t count on is how much I do
love animals and it is for that very reason I am now speaking up on
behalf of those that cannot speak for themselves. As you know, I took
my dog to your practice for a skin culture. What your clinic neglected
to inform me of at the time was that if the results came back as
something possibly contagious you were not going to allow her back
into your clinic for further treatment. I would suggest that if you
are going to discriminate against certain diseases in animals then you
have an ethical obligation to be upfront with the client before
commencing any testing. As a result I was left at the very last minute
with nowhere to take my animal for further very urgent treatment.
Furthermore, I was very irresponsibly advised to leave my dog in the
car on a 44 degree day! As a vet practice you should be aware that
dogs die within minutes left in cars and you should be proactively
discouraging clients from leaving animals in hot cars. As to your
claims that your vet offered me “the possibility of euthanasia”
over the phone, that is a gross misrepresentation of the truth. Your
vet without reasonable justification tried to persuade me into having
my darling dog put down even going as far as calling me selfish! In
fact, I got off the phone traumatized, feeling very intimidated and
bullied and was left literally shaking and in tears This is by someone
from your own admission had met my dog once and apart from obtaining
some of her records didn’t even know her or of the tremendous
progress she had made neurologically at that time. As you know, I did
email your practice during the time of these incidents expressing my
concerns but, unfortunately, although I did receive a reply my
concerns were not addressed.
Nothing can ever make right the way that my beautiful girl and I were
treated before she died but, if even one animal and their guardian are
helped from me writing about our experience then it has been worth me
doing so..

The Veterinarians and Vet nurses are super friendly and very helpful at this surgery.
The surgery is clean with plenty of off street parking and they have a small range of food available to purchase.
