One of my favourite cafes, the Yam is staffed with friendly people, comfortable chairs, is child friendly and full of things to read as well as a few essential vegetarian/vegan products like Nushies icecream.. yep.. essential :)

Their food is so fresh and tasty, their pasta salad is one to try and their raw chocolate cake the ultimate indulgence to share with a friend. A must try for Melbournian veggos.

I love the Wild Yam but the name sounds a bit "fishy". Their Chai Latte are fantastic and the staff are very friendly.

They have the best VEGAN and Vegetarian Pies i have ever had! Also make juices,smoothies etc and ORGANIC coffee. CHILD friendly with comfortbale couch seats as well as tables to sit at. Some health food supplies are available. Friendly staff.
