Recently after searching for a photographer to take some shots of my 1 yr old DD i stumbled across WILDBERRY Studio & Design and after many quotes decided to go with them as they were very close to me and fit my requirements. My requirements were very CLEAR from day 1 which i had in email; i am moving homes therefore don't want to commit to purchasing prints for my walls, i would like to purchase the images i chose on a disk so that i can use them for this years christmas card. I was never told that they do not sell or give our disks with images as i was very CLEAR that this was what i wanted. If they had of told me that from day 1 i would have simply gone with one of the other quotes i had recieved. After the $195 fee for the photography session (which was fine) i was then called in to choose the images i wanted, still thinking i was going to purchase a disk, i selected my favourites. After doing so i was told that i was not able to purchase a disk with images and that if i wanted the images i'd need to purchase a photobook which would cost me in excess of $1000. I had NO CHOICE but to order my christmas cards from them which cost me $170 for 40. If i wanted to have some kind of memory of the photos that had been taken of my DD i had to purchase a slideshow dvd which cost me a further $300. So after $660 i'm left with no images i can hold onto to later have printed for my new home. I've had to contact another photographer to come and shoot similar pics so that i can purchase on a disk. I'm disappointed that i've been lied to. I feel extremely ripped off. I understand some places don't offer the images on a disk and thats fine but they should not have miss lead me, lied to me, cheated me. They have a duty of care to tell their clients what they do and do not do. Please ensure before using WILDBERRY that you have everything you require from their services in writing. There's nothing more frustrating than being ripped off.
