This used to be a dingy little shop with slowish service. Now they seem to have improved a lot. There are tables and chairs out the front on the footpath for "al fresco" dining along this busy and cheerful strip of shops in Douglas Pde.

The man in there is happy to chat, gives you a good serve of chips and the fish is very nice although not the best I've ever eaten. But it's so handy to place your order, pop into the supermarket and then come back and get it.

You can also buy fresh fish here to cook yourself. I know there's a lot of fish and chip shops around here, but it is a seaport after all. This is certainly a pretty good representation of their type. And you can always nick next door to Gloria Jean's for a coffee as well.
