My husband is a hobbyist with a couple of different passions and most of these require pieces steel of various lengths and types -plate, square tubing, bar etc. He seems to find everything he needs from this local business but strangely enough ... he always comes home with more than he originally went for because he "might need it". They have a great range and are willing to cut what you require.

Larger steel yards want you to buy metres of the stuff, but here you can get all the smaller home requirements and "do it yourself" stuff you might need. We have THE best welded outside guinea pig run in the southern hemisphere for sure because of these guys. Jay is helpful for any project you describe to him.

They can weld if you can't, cut and drill and have a metal folding machine. They also carry the nuts, bolts and rivets etc.

Last project our trailer got a new chequerplate floor installed - much better than having to get another because of holes in the floor.

Open during the week, but not weekends.
