This is a fabulous little cafe and you can tell why they've just won two big awards. We recently headed here for breakfast. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful and the area out the back was great! Quirky place where you walk through the kitchen (which I personally wasn't a fan of) to get to the back area where they have a range of eclectic furniture. Very happy to discover they had a dairy-free milk option for coffee! Not cheap but definitely worth the price for great food and coffee.

I really don't mind this little cafe, but the fact of the matter is that for what you get, their menu is a bit pricey. My partner and I went here for breakfast a little while back, and they had a 'beef wellington' option on their menu. Someone ought to have given them a definition for beef wellington though, because what was received turned out to be a rather expensive pie with shredded meat as opposed to a fillet of beef. I was rather disappointed, as it seemed misleading to title it something it was not. Overall, the food was nice, and the service satisfactory, but with the price of the food combined with a misleading description of the food, I walked away disappointed.

I'd been wanting to go to this place for awhile now because I heard it had earthy homemade yet gourmet style food and it didn't disappoint. The coffee was really good and the poached eggs with cornbread toast and crispy bacon was fantastic! If you like an eclectic ambience with a cosy feel then this place is for you though it's breezy and quieter to sit out the back. Very friendly owners with helpful suggestions and prompt service.

Delicious breakfast, good coffee and friendly staff ... it's a lovely, benevolent wakeup call when you need a morning pick-me-up. They use Pepe Saya handmade cultured butter, of which I'm a fan so that was good for starters. The owners themselves serve you and they are professional and enthusiastic.

It's a great little place that seems deceiving from the outside. It actually seats around 100 people in a slightly eclectic but comfortable environment.

Will definitely return :)

been here a few times and well the staff are well presented and friendly and remember orders, the food is slightly overpriced but that does not bother me and the fact the place is nice and clean come visit this place you wont forget the atmosphere

Positive experience staff at counter were friendly and approachable. Wait staff not as much so. Presentation of food was extraordinary and tasty, too. Perhaps a tad overpriced for what you get though.

Willow & Spoon is a reasonable cut above most average cafes in the north-west area and is in a pretty convenient and central location. They offer Blue Sky Coffee, and while the menu has sophisticated and unique options, in my opinion it's very limited and the cafe suffers from trying to blend lunch and breakfast options. I mean, who wants an eye fillet for breakfast? And it's a 90/10 ratio of savoury to sweet, nothing really on offer to satisfy a sweet tooth except some banana bread or granola. Our meals were tasty but not amazing - but I have to say they have nailed poached eggs, both of our meals had eggs that had been cooked to absolute perfection.

Service was pretty perfunctory, and the prices are perhaps a little above average. Nothing specific to complain about here but I would definitely recommend heading a little further down Samford Road to Grub Street in Gaythorne or Delicatezza in Mitchelton for better food and a better experience if you find yourself in the Enoggera area.

Had breakfast there (several times now) and totally love this place. it's nothing flash but the food is wonderfully different and the staff are lovely. The premise could use a little upgrade in areas but that's what makes it so charming.
