This little Chicken shop has been one of the mainstays in the Food Court of Altona Gate shopping centre. While others have come and gone, the lovely lady who runs this shop has continued to provide wonderful chicken at a great price.

There are two sections to this business. There is the take-away section of course, with succulent chickens, lightly herbed and cooked to perfection to take home. You can get a deal with two smaller chickens for a good price.

And then there's the chips and wedges - $2 and $3, there's breast tenders and chicken pop munchies - 10 for $2.50. Lots of choices - well-stuffed chicken rolls ... I can't remember them all.

If you also want some chicken to take home and cook yourself, there's the front section with large chicken breasts and pieces, crumbed schnitzel and many other beautifully prepared raw selections to choose from.

Service is always friendly and helpful = you can pick and choose among the take away items and the lady will give you a good deal. And she lets the kids put as much sauce on their chips as they like. Cutlery and serviettes are available and there's a well stocked drink fridge too.

A staple of mine on a visit to this Shopping Centre.
