Wisteria Cottage

Wisteria Cottage has been our go-to place to stay in the Albany area since 2010. The owners work hard to keep the premises up to speed, and, given the rate, the property represents excellent value for money. I tried to book in again for New Year and sadly, but unsurprisingly, Wisteria Cottage was booked out - (Gutted!). Suffice to say, every time I ask my kids where they’d like to stay (my daughter is 14 now, and son 10), I expect them to say ‘somewhere else…’ but they always, always, ask about Wisteria Cottage…! The proprietors have got something really special going on here; it's a really lovely place to stay, and you will be hard pressed to find 2 harder working owners who ensure that guests are vitalled on arrival with fresh eggs and milk! A hidden gem.

Wisteria Cottage was spacious, clean, and well equipped. We even had fresh milk, bread, and eggs as a breakfast starter. The eggs come from their own chook pen. Beautiful tranquil garden surrounds, private nooks around the cottage. Only 5 mins to a boat ramp and grassed area, only 5 mins to a Woolworths shopping centre, and only 12 minutes to centre of Albany. Good value and pleasant stay. Will stay again.

A value for money place to stay. A really comfortable, neat and clean cottage surrounded by a gorgeous garden provided a private and tranquil place to stay. Great for kids. the extras like washing powder & gladwrap were a welcomed extra touch. highlt recommended.

Our stay at Wisteria was fantastic, we were treated with such hospitality and it is so rare to find great pet friendly accommodation. The property is in nice secluded surroundings, so kids and pets can play in the surrounds. Inside the cottage everything is so cosy with all your mod-cons including a nice pot belly which is great for the colder nights. The owners of the cottage are such friendly and helpful people.
