I totally agree with fellow WOMO reviewer. Close to one of the worse experiences I have ever had. To the point where I question how these people are in business and still open.

Food was ordinary and plain. Lacked flavor, creativity and taste. Didn't think it was cheap either. The drinks were rather over priced. Whilst the service bordered on a scene from Faulty Towers.

I also felt cramped, which wasn't necessary considering that most of the other tables were empty.

Dined here last night and the service was something out of Fawlty Towers - absolutely shocking. I'm surprised the place is still so busy as they have no idea how to treat a valued customer. The minute we were given our menu the waitress (possibly owner) asked what we wanted to order, we asked for a minute longer, and then she never came back. We had to wave her down to order and when we did I politely requested that my ocean trout be "underdone" and she said yes and wrote it down. 45 minutes later she came to the table and asked us if we had finished, yet we hadn't even received our meals, she said she would see how much longer. She came back and said almost here, and repeated this several times. The meals finally came and my ocean trout was completely overdone and was dry. It wasn't a huge request but I asked her if it could be redone as it was much too overcooked. She went to see the chef and came back and said that is how he cooks it, and it is grilled in the oven at 600C and has to be that high otherwise the fish would be raw. I've never heard such rubbish in my life! I cook ocean trout and eat out regularly and it is always slightly underdone and pink in the middle eg breaks apart with your fork - delicious and juicy. She continued to argue the point with me and then could see I was not happy so she offered me a "free" meal to make up for it so I ordered the other fish which was barrumundi but pleaded he don't do it in the oven, rather he do it in the frypan which he did. It was still overcooked as I struggled to cut through the fish and the skin, however the other things on the plate were really delicious. We finished our meals and yet 45 mins after our dirty plates were still in front of us while she proceeded to clean the table next to us, so we put a dirty plate on that table to give them the hint, to no avail, our dirty plates still sat on our table until we had to move them ourselves. Then the piece de resistance is when the bill came and the fish was on the bill. My friend mentioned this to the waitress who argued the point, then she brought out her husband who again argued the point until it got so embarassing and upsetting it ruined the evening. It's unbelievable that in such a fabulous part of Sydney with great restaurants that this awful treatment can happen. They need to get their act together, have some professional training and treat the customer accordingly!

Approximate cost: $30
