Depends what you're looking for and what you can afford as to whether you like this place or not. If you want an air-conditioned glass and marble box then this isn't the place for you. It's real pub accommodation, but we found that the charm and character and the excellent location outweighed other considerations.

Stayed here in a group and the staff were friendly and helpful, rooms were interesting and pretty good size (shared bathrooms) and the windows open. That means a little traffic noise sometimes, but at least you know where you are. Just a quick walk to all sorts of fabulous places along Darling Harbour precinct.

Price was good and I really enjoyed it here, but like I said, some others didn't so much. Especially if they were on the top floor as there's no lift. It's a Heritage building so I'm okay with that.

Breakfast is $7.50 and rooms from $85 - 135 but I think we might have got a special rate for a group, not sure. I'd come here again.
