I visited and bought shaved leg ham at the Deli station today. The staff used her hand to grab more leg hams for me. Although she was wearing a glove, she touched the ham everywhere with her hands and did not have the food safety and common sense I expect. I can not accept it and I am unsatisfied

One of the bigger stores in the area. The bakery section is well packed and the aisles are nice and big. Drop in later in the evening and they reduce all their baked in store breads and buns (you can save up to $2.00 on each item). Can get very busy and the carpark is quite small downstairs, but you'll always manage to find parking.

I shop at this store at times, I find this store really busy, always queues.
I do like the wide aisles.
Staff at times are helpful.
Overall an ok shopping experience.

Staff not using the "inverted bag" procedure for extracting fresh chicen meat from the display for customers, the use of the same gloves between purchases and staff serving fresh fish, fresh chicken and cooked chicken without changing gloves (high risk of cross-contamination and food poisoning)

On one of my most recent visits to Woolworths West Ryde, I was served by a cashier who had a huge tear in the armpit of his uniform shirt. I found this to be very unprofessional and was surprised that he was allowed to dress like this.

The shop looks excellent, easy parking at the front or underground parking free for 2hours. Very appealing to the eye, the produce looks fresh in the morning especially, very clean and tidy but when it started getting busy with more customers there was a lot of traffic jam of trolleys, i guess its okay because it is a busy supermarket, they have great buys all around in each department, i ask a staff member where i could find a particular product and he told me where it is but also asked me if i wanted to show him where it is exactly, and i said yes. He went out of his way to pin point the actual product in front of me. After all i got my groceries i went to the check out, and i got served with a friendly smile.
