Great website for everyone to use. WOMOW allows people to rate businesses and let others know about their experience. If you rate small businesses, they send you $20 in the mail. A great website to have around.

Queried the promotional voucher offer, told that businesses I have rated don't fall into the category of a small business, They are franchised to individuals who are small business owners. I am disappointed with this site and have asked them to cancel my membership asap
I'm sorry to hear that you misunderstood the promotion. A key aim of WOMOW is helping people find out about lesser known businesses - the ones you only hear about through word of mouth. That's why when we provide incentives for entering ratings, we only include ratings for smaller businesses and not large brands or chains. We figure that if a business has 5 or more stores or outlets, then they probably do a lot of their own advertising and most people already know about them. So ratings for businesses like McDonalds, Hungry Jacks, Subway, Shell, etc are not nearly as useful as a rating for your local mechanic, or a plumber that went out of his way for you, or a great hairdresser you've found, or an accountant that gets your finances in order. It's often the smaller, hard-to-find businesses that provide great service that people want to find out about.
You are missing the point concerning my ratings of the businesses I initially mentioned, the Supa IGA privately owned, Noodle Box privately owned I see that has not been mentioned of my ratings in your comments. Again I find it biased when you only mention McDonalds, Hungry jacks or Shell to make a viewable point in your comment, please cancel this membership as originally requested, as I am not interested in this becoming an email trail
