My insurance company sent me here to get some bumper damage fixed up recently. The quality of the fix was fantastic, level of service was extremely high and the process was smooth.
The bonus of the day was that they saw that something else was broken and fixed it as a bonus.
The assurance that I could come back if I wasn't happy was just further icing on the cake.

I made an appointment to take my car in for a quote and spoke with a gentleman who after I advised that I worked full time, told me to bring it to their workshop by 6pm that Friday. I took some time off and left work early that day, and called their office several times to confirm my appointment. There was no answer. I kept trying to call while deliberating whether or not to go there if no one was picking up the phone. I thought considering I had already taken the time off work I may as well go there, as the quote was urgent.

I turned up at 5:40pm to be told by a mechanic that no one was left in the office, they all went home "a while ago". I said I made an appointment, to which the mechanic found amusing, and said he could not help me. I asked when they usually close up and he said "whenever we feel like it".

Clearly XL have no customer service standards or respect for their clients. I was furious that I took time off work and made an appointment that was not honoured or even shown the slightest consideration for by staff.
