We just used this company to move us. Not a great experience. They had advised they would use a 10 Tonne truck and would arrive at 7am and have us moved in one trip. When they arrived at 8am they only had a 4 Tonne truck which was inadequate to move us in the one trip as promised! They offered us a second truck to assist with the move at their normal hourly rate and then tried to change an additional call out fee for this truck. The additional truck didn’t have a talk gate to make the moving of larger/heavy items possible which made this truck not as useful as it should have been. In all it took 4 trips to move us and the majority of the day which was a huge inconvenience as we were advised a much different time frame when booking. During the move they broke our bed, damaged the paint work in the hallway of our newly painted house and destroyed our outdoor table cover to mention a few of the damaged items. They also advised credit card payment could be made when the job was completed but the on-site removalists advised that I needed to direct transfer the payment via EFT. Again, another surprise! In summary I would steer clear of this company and book with another mover!

22/1/19: I thought I’d give a follow on update to this review. If it seems odd that I am the only negative review for this company this is very likely due to the companies ethic that if they receive a negative review they ring that reviewer and offer them cash to take the review down. So in summary, the reviews for this company can hardly be relied on as they are miss leading thanks to xtracare ‘s cash for a positive review ethic. I’m still waiting for their insurance to be offered to pay for the items they damage during my move. I can’t not say enough, I wish I had used a different company!

Both times the trucks with two employees arrived on time. The first booking was what was requested. At 6 pm on that first day, arrangements were made without hassle for a second truck to take what wouldn't fit on the requested booking truck. The short notice request was responded to by a truck arriving promptly at 7 am the following day. I am impressed at how smoothly this additional truck was organised at short notice.

On the job we complemented both teams of two on their efficiency, care, courtesy, and openness to negotiation.

We would definitely recommend this removal company for anyone needing to move.
