Lovely quiet venue, great service, lovely food. Children welcome, however is more of an adult restaurant. There isn't anything for children to do so bring something (coupling and pencils or iPad/tablet).

The location and view is great when you are eating your meal, which adds to the experience. The staff are also friendly and efficient, so i didn't have to wait long for my order. I ended up choosing the salmon, which tasted really fresh and tasty. The price was also pretty reasonable, which was a bonus. Would recommend to anyone in the area.

I have been to two functions here and both times the service was terrible, not enough bar staff, and such a tiny bar area! No room for a dance floor and food was very disappointing. It's in a lovely location but thats about it.

Poor service Side plates but no bread rolls offered, limited choice of main meals the cheapest fish and chips at $23.00 and that is all it was four thin fingers of fish mainly batter, tartar sauce in the bowl was obviously not fresh with a skin formed on top with this and all the meals any vegetables, salad etc where $7.00 extra per individual serve, when asked for bread rolls we where told, side plates where to share entrees they don't do bread rolls at all. Told we only cook steaks rare to medium so don't ask for any other type, how condescending is that. My pork belly was dry and overcooked so not rare to medium there, crackling was rubbery and not crackling at all. served on bed of red cabbage with big bits of core included which could not be cut with knife never mind eaten. Salmon steak was soggy, seafood pasta Abolone? or mushroom couldn't decifer was rubbery and not edible. They ran out of fish and chips in first 30 minutes of opening. Poterhouse steak on menu was $55.00 with side dishes extra. Asked for entree of prawns to be upsized to main meal as prawns not on mains menu, told "we don't do that here.

Approximate cost: $30 plus

Lovely view, nice decor (although not impressed by paper on the tables) and polite and efficient staff.
Had the salmon fillet which was nice, not exactly wowed by it but certainly nice. My husband had the steak and again while it was most acceptable, no wow-factor. Sides have to be ordered separately (who came up with this idea anyway?) and we found the hand cut chips very average - not crisp and soft inside, perhaps the wrong choice of potato.
Overall we would not make the drive there again as it was not overly exciting, but it certainly was most edible and the view pleasant.

Approximate cost: $35
