Zapata's

Zapata's is a great place to go for a fun night out. Mexican restaurants are generally always a fun and easygoing place to go to for a meal, and Zapata's sums that up completely. my fave dish was Nachos, with added extra jalapenos and tomatoes. this dish was surprisingly filling!

They have specials on a number of midweek nights, and despite the cheap price - quality is excellent. A great Mexican experience!

Good value for money with all the daily deals. We went on a Thurday and got $5.50 (very bland tasting) Pina Coladas.
It is not the best mexican food out there, but it is a large and well priced menu with something to appease everyone.
Cheerful atmosphere. Would be a good place for teenagers birthday or similar.

We went with friends for a meal on a Tuesday night, as on Monday and Tuesdays they have great deals (like 2 tacos for price of 1, cheap nachos etc). I've been to quite a few Mexican restaurants so I might be a bit biased - but this place didn't stand out. It was a great location and atmosphere, BUT the margaitas were the worst I think I've ever tasted! The servings were generous and tasty, but we all asked for very hot and instead we were all served mild. So if you like your chilli, make sure you ask for extra extra hot at this place
