This review was written over 5 years ago. The business has had new owners since 2014 and I have never had a problem with their service or costing. They have always checked with me before proceeding with any emergent issues with my car and never have I had such great customer service in relation to my car.

I had a very disappointing & frustrating experience with these guys. After coming as a new customer, on a friend's recommendation, my car had tuning problems/backfiring only days after they serviced it, so took it back to them for re-tuning. I queried that I wouldn't be charge again and they said "only if we need parts". Consequently they then tried to charge me another $200+ for a new fuel filter and spark plugs. When I pointed out that the spark plugs were long-life and relatively new and asked why the fuel filter issue wasn't identified during the service, they then admitted that they hadn't even checked that these items actually needed replacement but rather they were acting on 'suspicion'. They then tried to blame bad fuel (petrol) and I explained that I ran the car on gas. I also pointed out that presence of engine knocking appeared to suggest a timing issue and it simply needed a re-tune. They told me that they hadn't tuned the car at the service which was a surprise to me as all other mechanics I've had in the past do this as a matter of course. They said they didn't tune my car at the service because 1) they don't do it unless they are explicitly asked to 2) they aren't qualified to tune dual fuel cars and 3) their workshop is not equipped to tune engines anyway (b/c they don't have a dyno). None of this was ever explained BEFORE servicing my car and taking my money, nor before they accepted the car back on my request for "re-tuning". If you want quality work, straight honest advice/feedback, and mechanics that know what they're doing, I suggest you try elsewhere - especially if you have a dual fuel car!
