Nice location and reasonable service. The are a few interesting dishes but I left here feeling rather disappointed. Nothing really grabbed my fancy and it was not cheap. Overall a little pretentious for what it is.

The service was the worst I've ever experienced....well, it was pretty bad anyway. In addition, their manners were pretty poor as they seemed less than interested in our concerns about how long the meal had taken to be brought out (over an hour) - and it really wasn't that busy. We were there for my 97 year old grandmother's birthday and by the time they brought out the food, she was over it and no longer wanted to eat. It was most frustrating as she usually loves going out for lunch. Food was okay but nothing to write home about. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Waiting over one hour before the meals arrived was not a good start to our large family lunch on a Sunday afternoon. However they were at least consistent as the meals were not great either, and that all matched the slow service. The coffee was surprisingly very good, but even after stressing that I wanted a hot, not warm coffee as per the previous one they still managed only warm.

We had lunch to celebrate a birthday with a group of 17. The back room was a little small for one long table but the waiting staff were more than happy to oblige with an unusual table arrangement to accommodate us all, even though our directions led to the least inefficient seating layout possible; and then they would have been perfectly happy, if not somewhat amused, to change it all back again had we insisted. All this on a full house Saturday - full compliments. I liked the way they listed scrambled eggs with three eggs at a slightly increased cost (a single whole dollar more than 2 fried eggs); this is much more preferable than getting two eggs smeared across the toast at about the same thickness you would apply jam. Another thing I liked was the steady supply of water bottles being delivered to the table, a few of our party had indulged the night before and this simple service was greatly appreciated. Further to this, the kitchen managed to get all the meals out before the first person finished theirs. Most significantly though, I had two cappuccinos, 1 great coffee always leads to another.
