We had many a great family day to The Zig Zag Railway.
Very disappointed to hear it has been unable to continue its historical service to the community as $$$ is always a factor. The location is a bit out of the way but if you dont mind a drive it's very pleasant there are great tracks behind for 4wd too so we would incorporate the 2.
But the old steamy's were so fun, imagining what it used to be like for our grandparents and such.
Definate must see if they are able to open this great business back up

My grandchilldren love Zig Zag Railway it is a very special place to visit!
I find it hard to believe it may never open again!
Zig Zag Railway has temporarily suspended services!
So sad there are so many very disappointed. :(

the old style train travels along the edges of the blue mountains and gives great views. I would reccomend it for rainy days to fill in an hour or so. I think it's great for littlies, different and sheltered from the elements outside.
