Quiet little cafe in Collingwood that we stopped in at for a morning caffeine fix.

The place was very quiet (only one other customer there aside from us) but that didn't seem to be a reflection of the business. I got the distinct impression this place would be at its busiest later in the day when there was perhaps some live music on display.

The coffee we had was pretty good, if not spectacular, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was quite nice.

If I were in the area, I'd happily stop in again.

We had an absolutely amazing time at this place. We received a voucher as part of a community auction and attended as a group of 6. Despite the fact we were using a presumably donated voucher, we did not feel at all like we were treated any differently to regular customers.

The food was amazing, the service was exceptional and the atmosphere was really relaxed.

As a direct result of how much we were enjoying ourselves, we ended up exceeding our voucher by a significant amount.

HIGHLY recommended.

My wife and I discovered this little gem when we were staying in a nearby hotel. On a whim we decided we'd give them a try, my wife having not really had much to do with Greek cuisine.

When we arrived we were greeted by an extremely helpful, friendly waitress who really couldn't seem to do enough for us.

The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was warm and friendly.

It was a great night and I wouldn't hesitate to return there next time I'm staying in Melbourne.

Avoid Avoid Avoid! I made the mistake of stopping here for quick bite of breakfast before catching a train to an appointment - the hashbrowns I received were unbelievably stale - to the point where they had been in the Bain Marie so long that the service staff had to toast them before serving. With standards like these, it shows nothing but utter disdain for their paying customers.

I would never consider returning to this venue.

I stopped here for a late lunch/early dinner when driving from Melbourne to Horsham. The place wasn't too far from closing, but I still received excellent service and it was no trouble to cook me up fresh food.

The chips I received were the best I'd had in a good while as well.

The price was pretty much what you'd expect from a place like that on a main Highway, but I wouldn't call it price gouging by any stretch of the imagination.

Worth a stop if you're travelling through.

Went here with my Brother, Mother & Grandmother on a Sunday evening after spending the day visiting my father in hospital.

The meal was fantastic, hearty serves and we only went the entree size options, excellent flavours and fairly priced.

The service was good too, our waitress was very patient with my Grandmother whom had never dined in an Italian restaurant before so needed some coaching.

I would happily return here if I was in the area again.

Handy little butcher in a busy shopping centre. As you would expect the volume of foot traffic makes really personal service difficult, but whenever I've purchased from here I've always been dealt with in a polite, friendly manner.

The quality of the produce purchased has never held any concerns for me and their mini chicken schnitzels are really good to throw on the BBQ or into a burger.

I dealt with Alistair at Blackmans Bay Butchery when I was organising a fundraising BBQ at work for Movember. Alistair was fantastic to deal with, offering me a good bulk deal on the meat I needed.

The quality of the sausages was excellent and the burgers were fantastic. A real hit. When I arrived to pick up the order, the meat was packed such that I could easily open smaller packs and keep meat that was waiting to be cooked freshly refrigerated.

Even if Alistair hadn't been so supportive in pricing for the fundraiser, the quality of service and food alone would entice me back.

Fantastic.

What can I say other than this place is brilliant!!! This little microbrewery brew their own beer as well as a delicious pear cider. There are a number of varieties, but the Forrester is quite tasty.

They operate a "Farm Bar" on weekends during the warmer months where you can visit, sample some quality beverages and relax. There are BBQ facilities available for you to cook your own food and they also sell their own "Beer Fed Beef" which has been raised on the farm before slaughter.

My last visit was unfortunately cut short due to a nearby Bushfire, however, the owners were brilliant in the way they managed the customers. Without panic, asking us to make our way out of the area as the fire front, whilst a reasonable distance away, was becoming increasingly unpredictable.

They monitored the fire via various media sources and made sure their customers were safe and sound and gave plenty of time to leave the area.

I'll certainly be returning.

Simply put, this is my favourite butcher. Always excellent service, prices are fair and the quality of the meat & poultry is always quite high.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough.
