Priding itself on sustainable produce, this cafe suits the eco tourist.Multi award winning, but ultimately a takeaway, the chips, which is all we ate, were touted to be "the best".Thought they were soggy and short on flavour, plus expensive. But the coffee was nice.Overall overpriced for three weary travellers too hungry to care where the potatoes came from

We stayed at this motel on our trip to the east coast of Tasmania, fling into Launceston.Hired a car at the airport, very easy to find, with supermarkets close by.Older style but very spacious room.Definitely stay there next time.

Get yourself to the Thursday night special! Buy $10 worth of raffle tickets, show your purchase to the restaurant staff when ordering, and buy TWO chicken snitzels with one of twelve "toppers" with salad and chips for TEN DOLLARS.Top it off by having a win on the raffle and the night is practically free. How good is that!

great resort at Elizabeth Beach, bure type accomodation complete with overhead fans and high thatched ceilings.Just across the road from Pacific Palms recreational club, the resort has a lovely pool and tennis courts. You need a car to travel to Forster, about 20 mins away, but why go there?Plenty of lovely walks, fishing spots and cafes within walking distance.
Approximate cost: $120 per nite
had dinner there tonight with a girlfriend. There was anextensie menu, but what caught our eye was the $10 specials,a selection of two pizzas, and five different pasta and sauces.
The pizzas were vegetarian with a selection of meats at additional prices, but who needed them!Mushroom fetta, rocket, tomato, pesto. One each with leftovers.Highly recommended...

Just came back from a walk which included a halfway sto at the Source cafe,Maryville.Enjoyed a hot pot of tea with my walking partner.quite a popular place judging from the number of people. The breakfasts wafting past looked enormous, all around the $17 mark but looked to be well worth it.Will be coming back for breafast soon

You cant beat the view from the terrace of this hotel! You can see right up to Nobbys, amazing view.Glad you are a Novocastrian.
But the food, always presented imaginatively,a very generous serve, try the Tuesday night special, lamb cutlets for $15.

I have known George and Stacey since my children were young, purely because we would buy our fish and chips from them.
Almost 20 years later,we still buy from them, the difference is the both mine and their kids are bigger and prices have increased but still good value. My children still ask for Georges

Dressed in period costume, our guide walked us through the streets of Melbourne city on a two hour tour of ghost haunts.
A story at every stop, some sent shivers down my spine. One place was notorious for unexplainable "blimps" appearing on photos, yes we got one!
