This review is for Huggy Bear Child Care Centre, Morley WA

My son has been going to Huggy Bear on and off since he was 9 months old and he LOVES it.

The best thing about Huggy Bear is it has a homely, non sterile feel (unlike some centres). I also like the fact that they are not on a main road, but on a suburban street and their massive play area's (they have 2) are at the back of the property under huge shades. Which means there are no cars driving by dumping their exhausts near where the kids are playing, and there is no real chance of the centre's play area being caught up in a motor vehicle accident (as i have noticed that a few around the area are on corners of some pretty main roads!).

The staff are very friendly and easy to get along with and just a great bunch of ladies.

I will be honest I drove past Huggy Bear several times whilst initially looking for a centre (as i thought the sign looked dodgy and the premises small) but after looking at 5 others in the area (and not being really happy with any of them) i decided to give them a look. I can honestly say that as soon as I walked in and saw the premises I was like 'Yep this is the centre for my son!' - moral of the story - Just because a day care centre looks all new and fancy doesn't mean it is the best place for your kid! Huggy Bear definitely has a family/homely feel to it which is what I ultimately love about it!

Huggy Bear is awesome and my son will be staying there for as long as they will have him!

This review is for Padbury's Cafe & Restaurant, Guildford WA

A couple of Sunday's ago I went to Guildford with my son and a friend just looking for a nice place to sit down and have a drink and some hot chips. We eventually came to Padbury's.

It wasn't the most pleasurable experience I have had at a cafe to date - It took 5 minutes of waiting at the counter of the almost empty cafe to be served, was then rudely told they don't do takeaway. So i ordered, as my son was already sitting down. I will say this - the quality and amount of chips was poor for the amount I paid. I honestly did not expect to pay that much in a little cafe in Guildford.

All in all i found they weren't the friendliest or most accommodating venue I have visited and based on their pricing I would certainly expect a much higher quality of food, yes - even the hot chips!

I visit Bakers Delight several times a week for my bread and savoury snacks. The bread is great quality and unlike supermarket bought bread, it stays fresh for a couple days. They also have some yummy scones/buns and rolls which are actually filling so I don't mind paying the extra $.

They also have a rewards card where you can earn free loafs of bread/rolls - so make sure if you do go down you ask for a card (minimum spend $6 from memory) as from my experience you have to ask for them!

Great service, great eating and great rewards program (free bread)!!! what more could you want!

Fairly decent family friendly restaurant where you can take the kids and they can be loud, although there is no actual play area or anything for the kids so taking some distractions along is recommended. The food is slightly pricey for the quality you get. Although on occasion you do get a well cooked meal in the restaurant, the same can't be said for the takeaway main meals (aside from pasta). Recently I have not been happy with the quality and care taken with my orders. My chicken ceasar salad varies each time I get it, sometimes with Bacon, sometimes with egg, and sometimes it has lots of chicken and other times not so much.

But in saying this many family members of my household have eaten there and continue to do so, as will I as they do provide value for money where some pasta meals are concerned!

Recently had to purchase new tyres last minute (due to a flat and having no spare!) on a Saturday morning, phoned up (after being told NO at every other Tyre place in the area!) - got great service, decent pricing and was kindly fitted in last minute! Will definitely be going back again!

Basically i reckon they are good value for money. The meat is always great quality and service is always with a smile :)
I love their cheap mince specials! They will even bag it up into smaller portions if you ask!
