Gai and the team always give me a great haircut in a really pleasant, warm atmosphere. It's a beautifully designed little salon. I only ever use the place to get a trim but they obviously do a good trade in colours and styling. And I like it that their marketing (emails, sms) come regularly but are not pesky and in your face. It's actually very rare that I'll sign up to a mailing list, but I don't mind being on theirs. There are some really great hairdressers in Waratah and Georgetown, but I've been really surprised just how many of them can stuff up a simple men's trim! So I had to do a fair bit of shopping around before I settled on Hair on Bridge Street. They get my haircut right every time, they never ignore me, the prices are competitive and I feel at home in the salon. Fully recommended.

Tarocash already have some notoriety for selling beautifully made and stylish men's clothes. The thing that really blew me away recently was going to visit after the death of my father-in-law and to have received such incredible sympathetic and warm service from the store manager. The service at Tarocash is so helpful and attentive I would recommend it to anyone.

This review is for Vincent's Cafe, Mayfield NSW

Vincents has a warm, eccentric, retro, hobohemian atmosphere, full of quaint and curious oddments and affirmations. The kitchen plays to its strengths: a comprehensive and affordable menu with simple dishes all done to perfection. The coffee is reliably delicious and often served with an olde worlde wafer biscuit. The real strength of this place is the staff, though: Paul and Annie have created a nourishing and imaginative sort of sanctuary and treat everyone with friendliness, care and respect. It gets my full and unreserved recommendation.
