I first went to Benwerren many years ago as a guest with my children we all enjoyed our time there. The staff were very nice and caring people and you could talk to them if you had a problem and they would listen. I liked the place so much that i eventually worked there as a volunteer staff member and ended up staying nine years. I have retired now but I am on the committee and at the moment am the president. Benwerren is a place you can go to if you are stressed or just plain worn out. You will be treated to home cooked meals TLC by the staff and have a lot of timeout for yourself. Benwerren is for mums with or without thier children (Boys up to fourteen only) Men are welcome to visit or stay for meals but this is a womens respite only.

My dad has been admitted to Ringwood private three times in the last five years and the treatment he gets is just wonderful both from staff and doctors.
My dad is totally blind, and sffers from the shakes so he depends solely on the nurses to take care of his every need. This includes feeding him as he is unable to do this himself. They do a great job i can sleep at night knowing he is in good hands. The doctor keeps me informed of any change in medication and rings me if nessessary.
