The best café and restaurant in Gymea. Always great food, amazing service, and great value for money. There is a large and varied seating arrangement, where you can sit indoors, indoors but with an outlook onto street, or outdoors with huge umbrellas to shelter you in the hotter weather. Irene, owns and runs this business, and she is one of those rare bosses who actually 'waitresses', ensures you are having a great dining experience, and helps out all of her staff wherever and whenever possible. They have weekday lunch specials for only $12, and this offers amazing meals such as fish and chips, rump steak and chips, with a choice of sauces, pasta, etc. The food is always delicious, and Sonny is the main chef, who cooks amazing meals.
I can recommend LA ZONA to everyone wanting a great meal, fantastic coffee, and great service.

This is definitely the best kept secret in Haberfield, as far as good food, service and value. Apart from a great choice of menu, the prices are very reasonable, the servings are very generous, and best of all, the staff, George and Matt, are fantastic. There are many regulars at GARNISH, it is such a friendly atmosphere and you can sit indoors [ with a choice of 2 good rooms ], or in the courtyard, or along the sidewalk. George and Matt [who are brothers] and occasionally their other brother, Mick, go out of their way to ensure you are happy with everything, the food is DELICIOUS AND AMPLE, and we love our whole dining experience there.
