Signed up for the newcomers 10 day pass, great value at $17 for unlimited classes, very Indian hippy, insence burning, cats wandering around in communal area, classroom itself smells as you'd expect but can't they deodorise in some way? Classes last 1.5 hrs
Approximate cost: $17 for a 10 day newcomer pass
I love the Greek guy who runs this place, so friendly and his little dogs are adorable, great spot to pick up a bunch of flowers when on the way to friends for dinner, bought an amarylis here that has lived forever too
At last - a proper US style burger joint with meat pattys that taste of beef, proper fries that taste of potato and any number of topping combos and sauces
Approximate cost: $12 50
I'm English, curry is our national dish, this place is not the one for homesick Brits. Iyou want a decent curry forget tablecloths and wine glasses and go for one of the cheap places in Redfern, wipe down tables but really good curry
My old colourist is an angel from hair heaven but resides in London so with a heavy heart and roots to my ears I came here on the recommendation of a couple of blondes with great highlights
Approximate cost: $240 cut and half head highlights
Valentines Day calls for the best cut of steak cooked at home with love and piles of gratin dauphinoise so I went here and got my beau and me a piece of steak each. My lord it was expensive. Good yes but not that good.
To be honest I've only eaten here once but my boyfriend is a pizza a week kinda man and this is one of his regular haunts, the blokes who work here are laid back, it feels like you're in New York and the pizza hits the spot
Approximate cost: $15
After 3 months travelling through SE Asia I wanted my first Thai meal in Australia to be great and it was, traditional and some more Westernised dishes plus the authentic hurried service
Approximate cost: $17
A slightly above average Thai with very generous portions. BYO. Great decor featuring hanging seats and low lighting. Good music. Nice spot for intimate meal with friends.
Approximate cost: $18
The hunt for the perfect brunch might be over. Took my sis visiting from the UK here for breakfast on her last day and it rated as her fave Sydney experience. Great spot to watch the colourful characters of Surry Hills go by
Approximate cost: $15
