We were looking for local assignments (we live in New Zealand) and also for holiday accommodation overseas. Within a week of subscribing we had found our first house-sit and we have had a steady stream of Auckland-based sits ever since. Our next one starts in a week and we have two more lined up, taking us up to September of this year. We have also been in communication with two families in the UK with regard to sitting in the course of an overseas holiday. I find the noticeboard really good and easy to use; and for a very reasonable $45US per annum we have definitely had our money's worth.
