I love going here and picking up fresh fruit and vegetables. I have never eaten so many fruit and vegetables since i started going here. Great quality, and such variety. You can buy a few apples, a few oranges, a couple of bananas without having to buy a 1kg at a time.
The other section has sells where people can sell second hand goods or hand made crafts. i go nearly every second weekend

We went there today for a High Tea. It was overpriced, uninteresting and not the "treat" a High Tea usually is. Our crockery did not match, we were offered a glass of water (not cold), the tea came in 1 teaoot for 2 people, I dont think the sandwiches were freshly made and I dont think a big spring roll and curry puff are what you would expect to be served at a High Tea. Considering it was about $92.60 for 2 (there was a cheaper option which was $10 a head cheaper, but no-one took that up), not somewhere I would go again or suggest that anyone I know try.

Approximate cost: $92.60

5 years ago I went to this salon and it was great. About 3 months ago there was a lady in the city selling discount vouchers and as it was for this salon, I bought 2 (one for me and one for my sister).
We both went along to the salon on different days and both will NOT be returning.
A discount is only a discount if you dont end up paying a NOT of money for something that is not what you wanted.
I had told the lady that I DIDNT want a side part as my hair was only parted that way at the time as my hair was a little too long due to me hurting my back and not being able to sit for long periods of time and I could not get to my regular salon a few weeks before.
As I wear glasses, I could not see exactly how the hairdresser had cut the top of my hair until I put my glasses on and got outside. (When your hair is blown dry and sprayed with hairspray, you dont get a true picture)
Well, my hair had been cut to the side with a side part and I have been unhappy with the look of my hair ever since.

It had cost me $89 for the "discount voucher" and $110 for the hairstyle. I was concerned that if I went back to have my hair "corrected" I woudl have had to pay more money to have it fixed as well as the "I think you need a special conditioning treatment, it will only cost $15 extra..." on top.

My sietr had the same experience there and we will NOT be returning.

Being a champion hairdresser is not much use to the public is the "ordinary public" are treated like this at your salon.

I have read many many reviews about this salon and a lot of them feel the same as me.

Approximate cost: $110

About a year ago I went to this salon and Kirsti (or Kristi) did my hair. Amazing morning. She looked after me like I was the only person there, my hair was done exactly like I wanted and they served me a fantastic cup of coffee from bodum jug. It felt like a real treat. I have often meant to review this salon, but never got round to it. I have been there quite often. Last week I went to the salon again and Chris helped me. Fantastic service and hairstyle once again. I cant recommend them higher.

Approximate cost: $110

We stayed here because it looked nice. What an understatement. We had arrived the weekend after they had decorated the "guest lounge" for "A German Xmas". They only have 4 rooms but made us feel like we were family. the room was beautiful and the huge bathroom had a spa. The furniture was stunning. The best part was that it included a great breakfast and we were introduced to some great German breakfast goodies like homemade muesli, sliced meats and cheeses. Each breakfast table had its own color scheme and set of crockery, blue, burgundy, green and one other color. During breakfast, I wondered if it would be rude to take a photo, but minutes later, Marion came and asked us if we would like a photo taken. When we left we were given the photo in a lovely folder with the name of the hotel and the date. It was a wonderful weekend.

Using Wotif.com has given me the chance to stay at some great hotels for a fraction of the price. Sometimes, my sister and I just decide on a Wednesday to "make a weekend out of it".

Approximate cost: $99

Kirsty welcomed me and took the time to talk to me about my colour without pushing me into a colour I wouldn't feel good with. She then spoke to me in length about the style and I was very confident that she was going to not only give a style I would like but would look good.
I am used to going into a salon where I would be given old magazines to read, are offered a cup of terrible coffee and have to pray that when the buzzer went off to say my colour was ready, that the hairdresser would be within earshot to take the colour off at the right time. I also usually walk out with an OK hair colour and a haircut that is “my usual”
Instead, I was welcomed, treated like I was important, given great advice (and a great cup of coffee) and walked out of the salon feeling (and looking) so great.
At no time did I feel that I was being rushed or that Kirsty was going to leave me too long with the colour in my hair while she tended to another client at the same time. She gave me some magazines to read which were very current and was not the usual hairdressing magazines you get at most hairdressers to read. I had brought my own juice with me as I knew I would be in the salon for several hours . Half way through my appointment, Kirsty asked me if I wanted a drink and at this stage I was feeling rather cool, so asked for a coffee. What a treat. It came on a tray, with a little jug of milk (which was great as I like a lot of milk in my coffee) and it tasted wonderful and also the biscuits.

Approximate cost: $100
