i live local and the new menu has me excited. Mon $10 pizza, Tues $10 chicken schnitzel and/or fish and chips, Wed $10 nachos and/or $15 share plate and Thurs $10 rump steak and/or pork ribs (half rack). lots of other choices for great variety everyday of the week. the friendly chef takes my order and after greeting me and asking how my day was. after i whinge about my day he tells me that i can forget the bad parts of my day and get ready to enjoy my meal. at $10 a meal, how can i complain. already cheered up i go to the bar for a beer. more friendly staff to chat with and a cold one before dinner. about 15 minutes later my meal is ready. chef done a great job on the presentation and gave me a hearty serve size. well worth my $10 for schnitzel night that i had to write this review. have also tried the ribs, scotch fillet and the fish and chips. all meals very tasty and filling.

nice friendly staff greet you for a good start to the day. table service for a lazy day start too lol. after i ordered i got my coffee b4 i had time to read the 1st page of the paper. then i got my brekky in 10 minutes after ordering. the soy latte hit the spot while the bacon and haloumi stack filled the gap.

i went to eat there by word of mouth from a friend. i was greeted with a smile and a "how r going?". after browsing the menu i placed my order and told my number would be called soon. after about 10 minutes i got the shock of my like to see the monster of all burgers and chips in front of me. good thing i was hungry. i was told to enjoy my meal and i did. very pleasing. they had good music playing also. i will be making a return trip to yum burger and advice others to check it out.

The staff are friendly and the DJs set the mood for a great night. The food is worth every cent and the cocktails keep you going till the food arrives. Overall the Cafe Lounge is got the goods. Plus they just won Sydneys best small bar award.
