On the way to the Moreton island ferry and my navara shredded a fan belt. Tow truck dropped me to a servo at 8 mile plains, near a mechanic workshop. 3 mechanics saw me get out of the truck and head their way. They were closing up early (Saturday morning). They got in their cars and took off, leaving me stranded. Called RACQ , where I am a “gold” member and have been with them for forty years. They “do not do fan belts “ . Called Navara Fleet, who could not help except to say I should call a mobile mechanic. First mobile mechanics I called was “booked out til Tuesday”. Then I called Tynan.
This man had been flat out the night before til mid nite, but did not hang up on me. From the opposite side of Brisbane, he first went and shopped for the right fan belt. Then, he came to find us at eight mile plains. In the blazing hot sun, roadside, he was able to successfully fit the fan belt, which is a tough job without a workshop and a repair manual. Several times during the 2 hour procedure I lost hope of any success, but Tynan stuck to his task and got the job done. My family and I are very grateful to Tynan for assisting us when nobody else would. If ever a man deserved to succeed in business, it is Tynan!!! This bloke is on my Christmas list! Give him a call, he will not disappoint!
