Asked to diagnose evap air con. Fan working, no water start, no cool air. [Redacted name] of Bee Kool contended control panel at fault and I can get my own replacement at spare parts shop. Shop not open. Air con out of action 41 degrees x 2 days. Took panel to shop when it opened $580 to replace but not in stock. Sales tech says panel looks all clean and intact. Likely not blown. Problem therefore in pump which if broken doesn't allow water flow to panels to enable cool start to fan which was exactly the symptom presented and not detected by [Redacted name] $100 fee. EvapAirCon Problem Diagnosis 101-Fail. Rubbish skills. I worked it out. Components are plug and play sequence. Something dead stops sequence (and there's only two - fan or cool fan). New pump $250 enabled startup . It ain't rocket science.
