This is an amazing place as I found out when I went to get an old photo recopied. This amazing man helped me with lots of photos (special birthday portfolio for mum's 70th) and also to bind this special album. Nothing was too hard for him and though I got more photos than originally planned, and it cost me a bit more, I would do it all again for the great service and the excellent outcome. He has a lot of photocopying machines ranging from basic to colour but he individually did copies for me as I had very old photos from the very small to the large. Would definitely recommend him to anyone for quick photocopies to large jobs and special pictures as well.

This toy store has a great range and it's prices are good value but the service leaves a lot to be desired. You have to speak to someone before they even acknowledge you and then it always seems to be too much trouble to find something for you. They just point in the direction!

My kids still love this store for variety and I do as well but the staff always are a bit off putting for me and it would make a huge difference to this store if they had better-qualified staff. You need to be friendly in a toy store and you need to be able to talk to the children as well as the parents but I don't find this at this toy shop - unfortunately!

This has to be the best store in Indooroopilly.
You can always find what you are looking for; everything is clearly priced and most of the time very neat and tidy. There is always a bargain in a few departments and sales are on more often than not. I have been going to this store for years and keep going back because the staff are friendly and helpful and the quality of clothes far outlives the everyday living of my children. I can always pass on their clothes after my kids don't fit them anymore. CDS / DVDS are always less expensive there. They also have a very well stocked store with nearly everything you need. I know I can go in there when I need something and come out with that and more!

I know it's a basic department store but compared to some others - it offers friendly service, quality products and good prices - what more can you ask!

My kids love this store and they always seem to find something to buy when in there. They staff are always friendly and very helpful, especially to children who ask the strangest questions! Not sure on price comparison but seems to be in line with everyelse or even a little cheaper.

Will continue to shop there and happy to recommend them for their friendly and helpful service.

This is a great place that you usually don't have to make an appointment for.
If you need a massage or some reflexology (mmmm) this is the place to go in Indooroopilly. The quality of service is brilliant and you always come out feeling so much better.

The only negative I would have is that although the staff are very friendly, very few can speak English therefore if you have a question - you can't really get an answer until you go outside and it gets interpreted through the receptionist. Willing to overlook that as they definitely know what they are doing. I have inquired and you can arrange for someone who speaks English a little better to help you.

I love this store. It has a full range of papers and crafts to help me make invitations and cards when needed. The staff are always friendly and very helpful for extra ideas. They also have a large range of Beanie Kids which both my children love and lots of unusual gifts for something different.

They have a store at Stones Corner but I did hear this is closing at the end of June so this is their main store.

Recommend this for all your paper and card needs. They also make invitations if you need.

First time I used this salon and I will be back. They were very friendly and helpful and offered a service that was not advertised on the front door which suited my budget at the time. Even though I was not getting the full treatment or spending heaps of money, they treated me the same as everyone else. I was offered a coffee and everyone was smiling.

I left there with such a good impression that I have told lots of friends and will go back there myself.

This is a new ice cream store and WOW is it YUMMY!!!

They serve the usual flavours but also some special ones that they have created and definitely worth going back for. Try the Tiramisu!

Young staff always helpful and very friendly.

I used to be a very regular customer at the original Shingle Inn in the city and was excited to see the one at Indooroopilly. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The service is terrible and I have never been served with a smile once. Some of the mums from school like meeting there but we are disappointed each time. I took my children there for a special treat (like my mum used to take me!) and the cakes and biscuits were not fresh. The cupcake was so hard we couldn't cut it and when I requested a new one, she grudgingly gave me another - which was exactly the same!

I don't mind paying the bit extra if it is worth it - but this place is so not which is unfortunate for the Shingle Inn name.

I am sure that all three Newsagencies in Indooroopilly Shopping Centre are owned by the one person as they all work the same way. The staff are always friendly and helpful and all their stores are stocked to the brim with everything you would expect from a newsagency and more. The store on level 3 has some beautiful giftware and also quite a good range of quality papers for invitations. If you ever need something and they don't have it, they try to get it in for you.
