There are a few mechanics in the local area, but this one is my one of choice as the service they offer is very down-to-earth, but still of great quality.

I've not heard of anyone have a bad experience with them yet and they've always done my tax and done it to a level I've been satisfied with.

"Leopold Medical Centre" has been servicing the wider area for many years now. At this moment in time they have I think about five or six resident doctors, each specialising in different fields of medicine. Their surgery is very small, only a converted house, but they offer a large on-site carpark. Waiting times are never extreme and they also offer bulk billing. The doctor I see is Dr. Steve Fryman and I cannot recommend him enough. A very caring and thorough doctor.

Run by a husband and wife team, "Geelong Smile Studio" are the experts in Geelong for all your dental needs. Their facilities are first class and they have the latest in equipment and knowledge in caring for a person's teeth. They also offer facilities to immediately deduct from your health insurance provider (if you have one) the cost of a visit.

Another Ocean Grove institution, located perfectly in the middle of the main street (opposite Coles supermarket), "Ocean Grove Pizza and Pasta" offers a range of great-tasting pizza and pasta dishes at reasonable prices. There's also a smallish bar inside as well for pre-dinner drinks or maybe a post-dinner wind-down. The cooking times and service are good and this place is very well set out.

"Ocean Grove Cellars" isn't massive in size, but it makes up for it by stocking quality wines, pre-mixed drinks, spirits, beer and ciders. They are offered at reasonable prices with great weekly specials.

The Ocean Grove Newsagency has been able to diversify and maintain its edge through increasing competition from big supermarkets. The store offers a range of stationery, magazines, newspapers, diaries, books, as well as even having a "Darrel Lea" chocolate stall. The store is a one-stop shop for many different things and they sell for standard prices.

Run by the friendly Wayne, this store offers a range of goods including newspapers, cards, stationery and, of course, tattslotto tickets. Run in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere, with prices being good, I'd recommend it.
