I made a booking on February 4th of February to get a quote onsite in my location in North Sydney, at 8am on Monday 29th of February (I am normally at work at this time, but I ). I asked for an email confirmation and did not receive it, and I was too busy to chase this request. Around a week later I called up, because I wanted to find out the time between getting the quote and getting the actual work done. At this point I was advised it would take around 14 days between quote and work. At this point, I also re-confirmed my booking for Monday 8am, February 29th.

On the Monday February 29th at 8am, I was waiting for the person to arrive for the quote. After waiting 5 minutes, I called the phone number of Bathroom Werx, and received an answering message similar to, "Please leave a message, as your call is VERY important to us". I called around 5 times, waited until 8:30am and then gave up and headed into work. On my way to work I finally got through to someone, and they informed me that they had no booking for me for 8am, as well as that they had no record of any booking being made for me. I was a little irate that no-one had come at the appointment, but when they started telling me that they had no record of the booking (after I had booked, and re-confirmed via phone a week later) I told them that they were an extremely unprofessional organisation.

I called a little later and asked if I could make another booking for the quote today, and they confirmed that they could make it at 4:30pm same day. It was undesirable, as I did not want to have this quote in working hours, but I accepted it as I was keen to proceed. However, around an hour later I was called up and informed that the 4:30pm time would not be possible, so I re-scheduled to 8am the following day. At this point, I mentioned again that they did not seem like a very professional organisation. I told the person on the phone, "You should ask your manager how they will feel if I record my experiences on Yelp or Truly Local." The person on the phone got defensive and tried to spin it as if somehow I had been at fault (because I did not book and re-confirm the appointment properly!?), and when I started listing all the inconveniences they had caused me, she hung up on me whilst I was talking.
