Great, clean Resort in the Blue Mountains. They have a games room, indoor heated pool and spa, aswell as a tennis court which is great to keep the kids entertained. On site restaurant aswell. The rates are pretty good, especially when staying with a family.

Absolutely beautiful couples only retreat in the Blue Mountains. Have stayed there many times and it offers total seclusion in a beautiful setting. They offer spa suites and cabins and it's a lovely place to unwind and forget about city life!!

Nice little coffee shop which also stocks coffee bewing equipiment, beans and small gifts. Coffee is good and they have a small selection of cakes and snacks. Offer indoor and a few outdoor seats.

Lovely little bookshop with a small but good range of books. Have some great kids books that I haven't seen in other stores. Worth a browse.

Great Cafe inside the Village Shops in the Hunter Valley. Coffee is great and servings huge. Bought an all day breakfast plate and it was HUGE and delicious. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Lovely little gift shop in the heart of the Hunter Valley Village Shops. Abundance of things to buy from scarfs to small furniture pieces, frames, soaps, toys and much more. Great of you want to pick up something small while on holiday.

Large indoor soft play center for kids in Waterloo. Plenty of space and seating ( though can get extremely busy with parties and in holidays.) A little pricier than some places (parents have to pay $2 entry). Parking can be a bit hard sometimes.

Newly renovated Bistro inside the Leagues Club in West Ryde. Pretty large dining area and there's an enclosed kids area to play in. The variety on the menu is large and the servings are decent. The asian food is pretty good for a bistro. Can get busy (and a bit noisy on weekends.) Good for family dining.

Attended a function there and the food was fresh and tasty (and plenty of it!). They had a greek band playing who were great sounding. Parking can be a pain (watch out for the parking inspectors!!)

Absolutely beautiful florist in Potts Point. The setting is amazing, but be prepared to pay quite a bit more than other florists! Perfect if you want to slurge on someone special.
