Great meals deals on a wednesday night, schnitzel $15, rump & chips & beer only $22. Staff are very friendly, service is swift, relaxing atmosphere, delicious perfectly cooked steak.

When staying in Roxby Downs for work I tend to mix it up and bit and stay here a night or two and also stay at the motel because it is within walking distance for meals and also for a bit of luxury. Staff are always pleasant here.

I stayed here on my most recent trip to Coober Pedy for work reasons. My room was better than expected, comfortable bed, fairly spacious and quite clean. The air conditioner was working hard and kept me cool - it was 47 degrees outside. They let me into my room early and I found the price reasonable at $120 per night.

I was waiting for my wife while she was getting her hair styled and needed to kill some time, this cafe was just across so i decided a coffee would be good. It was fairly busy but I made myself comfortable and arranged for a coffee with one of the friendly staff members. Coffee was good and the menu was tempting, but not without my wife. Maybe next time.

It had been a while so my wife and i decided to enjoy a coffee after doing some shopping nearby. Well, coffee turned into lunch once we saw the menu. The chicken pasta was loved by my wife while I went for the pulled meat burger, our meals were delicious. Why had we taken so long to return I do no not.

It's not a huge supermarket but it certainly is well stocked and reasonably priced. They have a great selection of most items including meat and fresh produce. I wanted a healthier lunch for a change so I purchased some fresh fruit and yoghurt. Found the checkout to be quick and the staff extremely friendly. An excellent local supermarket.

Underwhelming.... I was working in the area for a couple of weeks recently and therefore did manage to try a few new places for my breaks and lunch on most days. I was with a colleague, it was around lunch time so we decided some chips, fish and a burger for my mate was a good choice. Firstly, such slow service, but friendly. Prices good but the chips and fish were very oily, who like soggy, oily chips and fish, certainly not me. My colleagues burger as apparently, ok but not the best he has had. Not sure if I will try again, will wait and see if some reviews appear.

Breakfast consisting of bacon and eggs with coffee was amazing. Hardly had to wait, staff friendly, can always rely on decent coffee and very tasty fresh meals. No complaints.

It was around the time I usually have lunch so I took a break from my busy day and sat down and had a coffee and toasted sandwich. Even though they had a huge menu with many options I would have loved to have tried, I just didn't have that much time to spare this time round. The staff were fairly quick with my coffee and sandwich, was very tasty, coffee good. I will return.

An authentic German establishment offering many grocery items both fresh and packaged. We usually purchase some of their salami's, the beer sticks are favourites, we do like the hot pepperoni sticks as well. Plenty of choice for this smallish store. One thing that could be improved is the staff, a little impatient and also unfriendly. Try smiling for a change.
