We had lunch here despite my last visit being disappointing 2 years ago when I was served a dip that had gone off. Tried again as people have been saying it's good. We had 4 share dishes-wedges, nice crispy and hot, after all who can't deep fry things? Tempura prawns, nice and fresh but the salad was dressed in pure oil, no acid at all. Nachos-terrible, worst I've ever had. Flavourless cardboard like corn chips, an Italian based salsa (??) guacamole that was just mashed avocado, no seasoning whatsoever and they weren't hot all the way through, unlike the plate. Then the zucchini fritters, floury and flavourless and when we turned them over, blackened and burnt. Really? We did tell the waitress who offered to get us more but by then we didn't want to wait another 30 minutes for something that ordinary. This place is only good for coffee and cake. I will never eat there again-over it.

We visited with our friends who are from India and highly recommended this restaurant. I have never had such delicious Indian food in my life. Every dish tasted completely different and exactly as described on the menu. We tried some completely new dishes that we have never seen on any other menu. Wait staff were extremely helpful, the food was piping hot, fresh and delicious. The best Indian restaurant ever. Completely authentic food, cannot wait to go again.

My new favourite cafe. I have been for both breakfast and lunch and the food is great. Everything is cooked fresh and to order. Their freshly squeezed juices are delicious as well. I had the breakfast wrap, filled with ham, egg and spinach which came with relish and an orange, pineapple and apple juice. Yum. For the lunch I had their calamari and chips, best chips I've had. The wait staff are brilliant, attentive, friendly and aim to help you choose your meal. The cakes and ice cream at Mondells are to die for. It makes it hard to choose. You can also order whole cakes to take home for a celebration. Such a great asset to Werribee.

We ate at Silks for a friend's birthday and were lucky enough to be seated in the silk tent. We had a 8 course banquet. All the entrees were beautiful, lobster san choi bao, crab and corn soup, dim sum, peking duck. The mains were as well but the servings were small, less than the entrees. We had the XO prawns and pepper beef fillet and had 3 prawns each and 5 cubes of beef, served with one bowl of chicken fried rice each. I cannot fault the service or quality of the food but we did leave still a bit hungry. You expect to be quite sated after a banquet. Very expensive, mains are an average $60 but a great place for a special occasion. Excellent service, immaculate clean establishment. Would definitely go back again.

I have been here many times in the past and was never impressed with their food. This time however it was a lot different. We held our work Christmas party here and firstly our wait staff were fantastic, very polite and helpful. We all ordered mains and dessert. I had the steak and seafood special which had a porterhouse steak, cooked exactly to my liking with crumbed prawns, scallops, calamari and fish, with chips and salad. It was great. The rest of the table enjoyed their meals too from risotto to chicken parmagiana to the greek salad. Be warned that desserts are enormous, most of our table had the chocolate brownie, which consisted of 2 pieces of brownie in a rich choc sauce with 2 scoops of ice cream. No one could finish theirs! If we had of known, we would have shared one between two. I had the gelato which came with mango, lime, raspberry and chocolate flavours. Beautiful and so refreshing. There are great facilities at the Club too, wheelchair accessible, pokies, sports bar, children's playground etc. A great family local venue.

We attended a function at Tabcorp Park and really enjoyed the night. The function room (Toolern) was spacious, large tables and comfy chairs. The wait staff did an excellent job all night. Food was served promptly and tasted great. Ravioli napolitana for entree, herb crusted chicken breast/grilled porterhouse for mains and chocolate pudding with chocolate sauce and ice cream for dessert. Good facilities, wheelchair accessible and the tables were decorated as well. If you are thinking of holding a large function be sure to check out Tabcorp Park. A gem in the west.

We dined here for my son's birthday. We had booked a table but were placed next to the path to the take away counter so there was a lot of foot traffic going past. We didn't wait too long for service and our meals arrived fast. We had the dips for entree but there was not enough for the 5 of us. Only 3 of us got to have 2 pieces of bread. The dips themselves were tasty. Their pizzas are always good and my son enjoyed his chicken parma. My risotto however was not made with arborio, just long grain rice and there was no parmesan in it, was not creamy at all. No offer of black pepper either. Two of us had the rib eye steak from the specials board, they were the smallest rib eyes I've ever seen and the quality of the meat wasn't good. They would have been better cooked on the grill, not pan fried. The sauce was good though. The best part of our night was our wait staff, they were excellent.

Dined here on a Saturday night. When we arrived it was very busy. We didn't see the point of the televisions being on, you couldn't hear them anyway as it was quite noisy. Waited for over 20 minutes for someone to take our order for drinks and food. Our entrees were generous and served piping hot, my garlic prawns were delicious and my friend's saganaki was too. Two of us had the open souvlaki for mains, the other two the chicken with mushroom sauce. Very generous again however there could have been more sauce. We indulged in desserts, lemon meringue pie, tim tam cheesecake and pavlova. Our waiter didn't know what cakes were in the display so we had to look ourselves. The pavlova was presented well and tasted terrific. After our meals we were asked too many times if everything was okay and did we want anything else. Although there were still other diners there we felt like we were being rushed out of the door. It wasn't even 10pm. Overall I would go there again and hope the service improves. It was pleasant though, wait staff were very polite and attentive, once they remembered we were there.

I have dined here twice now. The first time it was extremely busy and we had no booking but they were happy to accommodate us. This time it was very quiet. Our waiter was awesome, friendly but not intrusive and very happy to explain the food to us. We had the dips, fried calamari and pork belly to start, all fresh, hot and delicious. We had a mixed platter and grilled cutlets for mains, cannot beat Greek lamb however it's served. Generous serves, plenty of condiments, fresh salad to cut through all the protein. We had the house special for dessert, honey puffs, very much like a Greek doughnut with the traditional honey, cinnamon and crushed walnut topping. Cooked fresh and delicious. Prices are a bit more than what you would expect but it's great quality and your appetite will definitely be sated.

I have been here twice. First was for dinner and a show. The food served from the set menu was delicious. Next was for a family birthday. The wait staff are pretty awesome, very attentive and helpful. Meals were served pretty quickly which is pretty good for peak time on a Saturday night. Menu is not too extensive and everyone was pleased with their meals which ranged from pasta to parma, fish and chips to the beef burger. Very generous servings too and a great salad with the meals, a bit different from your mixed leaf and balsamic standard. It's a great venue with pokies, live music, childrens play area etc. It caters for everyone. A breath of fresh air in the west.
