We are regular customers at Mount Evelyn Automotive Services. You get great service for a quality job. We've found that once a mechanic knows you are regular they begin to overcharge and take your patronage for granted, however, this place isn't like that. We always get a good deal and a satisfactory job. Plus, he washes you car as part of the service!

What a fantasic little restaurant. The food is absolutely spectacular and the service is friendly. It might be tiny, but it packs a tasty punch. The pasta is the best in Melbourne! The only downside is that it gets really, really loud in there! But, that shows that people are having a good time. Gorgeous.

Having had my dressmaker quit on me just before my wedding, I jumped on the phone and found Heather. She got to making my dress very quickly and completely to my directions. I was really happy with her professional manner. The dress itself was lovely and she was very helpful in getting me to choose suitable fabrics etc. Her prices are reasonable and she has lots of experience. Heather works out of her home and has a studio downstairs. It has a homely feel, but you are guaranteed to get a beautiful dress for a good price.

This review is for Mr Kieran Cox, Mount Evelyn VIC

verified email - 09 Dec 2010

We went to Kieran to gain representation for a legal matter, only to be treated very unprofessionally by his administration staff who dealt with our case in a very judgemental manner. Kieran made very little contact and basically told us that we had no defence, this was before hearing the full story. Needless to say, we ended up getting a fantastic lawyer somewhere else and the situation was resolved in a very satisfactory manner, as we had intended.

The Chirnside Park store provides a very comprehensive service. They are more than willing to help you choose your frames and give you a thorough eye test with honesty. I'm really pleased with my recent lenses and they've fixed my issues completely. Having gone to other optometrists in the past I feel that these people aren't just trying to make you buy the most expensive frames, they listen to what you want and try to find you the pair that suits you the best.

This review is for Active Sports And Spinal Physiotherapy, Lilydale VIC

verified email - 09 Dec 2010

My husband and I have both used the services at Active Sports for a range of various ailments such as neck tension, tennis elbow and ankle problems. Each time we have received a fantastic treatment that has resolved our issues completely. Each practitioner is very professional and gets straight to the problem so that you immediately feel results. The receptionist is really friendly and accommodating. The centre has modern and up to date facitlities and you are always made to feel comfortable. The only downside is that they are busy so you might end up going in 10 minutes late. Massages are the best for a tense back!!!

This review is for Mont De Lancey Historic Homestead, Wandin East VIC

verified email - 09 Dec 2010

Mont De Lancey is situated in a beautiful spot in the Yarra Valley. It's a lovely day out where you can walk around the beautifully manicured gardens, visit the authentic old homestead, the working blacksmith shed or woodturners shop, the museum, the quaint chapel and have lunch at the french restaurant 'Les Chesselles'.

Mont De Lancey is operated mostly by volunteers, most of which have a historic link with the original family that lived there. The whole place gives you an authentic feel for how the pioneers lived back in the day.

A fantastic day out! Don't forget to check when the markets are on.

This review is for Merimbula Beach Cabins, Merimbula NSW

This is a beautiful and unique way to stay on holidays. These unique little cabins and totally self-contained and well-positioned on the pristine Short Point beach in Merimbula.
There is a barbecue area and good sized swimming pool.
For the past few years the cabins have been renovated and are now looking really clean and modern.
A great little place to stay if you want to get back to nature and have a quiet, cosy stay where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the main town.

This review is for Crown Apartments, Merimbula NSW

This is our usual place to stay when in Merimbula. It's conveniently located near the local shops and opposite the lake. It boasts great views and has all your essentials including laundry facilities, a large kitchen, spa bath and large spacious living areas.
The only issue I've ever had is that I was quoted a price on the online booking system but then was charged $30 more. The reason I was given was that the system made a mistake but as I'd paid a deposit in agreeance to the original price, I was disappointed that this decision was made. This only happened once and we've stayed there about four times.

This is a nice little Mexican restaurant with a good menu and some yummy meals. We often go here when staying in Merimbula. It has a nice view of the lake and is a short stroll from the main street.
The decor is really appealing as is the alfresco experience with large open windows and a small deck out the front.
The only downfall is the price. For the size of the meals, it's pretty expensive.
